Jan. 2003
Wagner & Zielinski secured a complete victory in an arbitration for its client. Richard Wagner filed the notice of claim with the arbitrator on behalf of his New Jersey based-client, seeking to recover the clients deposit from an Irvine-based equipment lease broker.

The court granted a motion for summary judgment in favor of Wagner & Zielinskis client and against a lessee in an equipment leasing dispute. Once this motion was granted, Richard Wagner obtained a settlement against the guarantor on the day trial was scheduled to start in the Orange County Superior Court.

May 2004
Wagner & Zielinski secured a settlement for its client against a Costa Mesa-based car dealership in an equipment leasing case. Wagner & Zielinski filed suit against the dealership and its 3 principals to enforce the end-of-the-lease options on an equipment lease. After Richard Wagner took the deposition of a former employee of the dealership, the defendants agreed to settle.

Aug. 2004
Wagner & Zielinski secured a settlement for its client against a Utah-based company and its principals in an equipment leasing dispute.

May 2004
Wagner & Zielinski secured a total defense victory in Federal Court for its client, a local business that was sued by one of the largest tobacco companies in the world, for violating The Lanham Act, counterfeiting, trademark infringement, and unfair competition. Richard Wagner successfully opposed the request for a preliminary injunction, and eventually secured the dismissal of the entire case.

Feb. 2005
Wagner & Zielinski secured a settlement on the day trial was scheduled to start in the Orange County Superior Court. Richard Wagner handled the case that involved the sale of a limited liability companys membership interests.

May 2005
Wagner & Zielinski secured a complete verdict after a bench trial in the Orange County Superior Court. Richard Wagner represented an Irvine-based equipment lease broker in a suit to enforce the end-of-the-lease options contained in an equipment lease. The court awarded Wagner & Zielinski's client damages for past and future rent, loss of use of the equipment, the fair market value of the equipment, costs and attorneys fees.

October 2003
Richard Wagner with co-counsel secured a complete pretrial dismissal for his client. Mr. Wagners client was initially sued by a multinational corporation for fraud and breach of contract.
